Buddy Bowman joined Savage Real Estate after a 32 year career in education as a teacher and coach. He is married to Becky Bowman, his wife of 42 years. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps as an infantryman. Buddy is a University of Georgia graduate, Master's degree from North Georgia College with graduate work at St. Joseph's Taft Institute. He has taught Economics, Political Science, and History.
Buddy's interests include writing and he is the author of Up On the Mill Hill, a series of stories about growing up in a time of abrupt change in the industrial south, published by his home town newspaper, The Greer Citizen . His hobbies include all types of sports, mostly as a spectator these days, with the exception of a round of golf occasionally and hiking through the woods with his dog Buck.
